About the school:

The school is based at  Lymington Town Sailing School and arguably possesses one of the best views of the Solent available. The school is run by Robin Pratt who is always available to discuss your particular requirements.

As Robin describes it:

"We are a friendly sailing and power boating school situated in the renowned sailing town of Lymington on the edge of the western Solent to the south and the New Forest to the north.

We are based at the Lymington Town Sailing Club whose reputation  for warmth and friendliness is second to none. The club house has  excellent facilities with two bars, one in the Solent room with  breathtaking views over the Solent to the Isle Of Wight, a first class  restaurant, changing rooms with hot showers and well appointed and lecture rooms.

The school provides an excellent degree of tuition to RYA standard and weather permitting operates all year round. Our experienced RYA qualified instructors are familiar with the local  area and conditions. They have an enthusiastic relaxed and above all, safe approach to their sport and operate with low Student/instructor ratios.

The courses run include Level 1, 2 & Advanced in addition to Safety Boat. These courses can be run on the schools RIBs or on your own vessel. The school's larger 5.85m RIB is also available for commercial skippered charter. If your not sure whether powerboating is for you the you can always try the schools 1 hour taster session. Under the careful eye of a qualified Instructor you can take the helm as you power around the Solent.

If there is any additional information you require please do not hesitate to contact me. "
