Powerboat Training UK is a RYA Training Centre operating from based at the excellent MDL Marina at Cobbs Quay in Poole Harbour in Dorset. We offer a variety of powerboat, motor cruising and shorebased courses.

At Powerboat Training UK we specialise in providing professional, fun challenging but safe courses to both amateur and professional powerboaters. We run the full range of courses under the National Powerboat Scheme (Level 2/ICC, Advanced, Safety Boat etc.), offer a variety of Shorebased courses (including Dayskipper,  Yachtmaster Offshore, Diesel engine, First Aid & VHF) and can also provide training under the Motor Cruising scheme. Additionally we also undertake own boat tuition and a variety of other bespoke courses.

As a RYA Training Centre we adhere to strict operating and safety standards and we are regularly inspected to ensure we continue to exceed these standards. Our Instructors are all avid powerboaters for whom training is a passion not a job.

Poole Harbour presents the perfect environment for training with the combination of challenging rough water for Advanced courses yet sheltered safe conditions for beginners. As the second largest natural harbour in the world it offers a huge operating area within an area of outstanding beauty.
