Salcombe Powerboat School  is based in the beautiful waters of the Salcombe estuary.

 Training/Assessment in all types of powerboats - from the complete beginner to the experienced commercial user. I teach and assess all levels of R.Y.A. courses and beyond, including the writing and operation of specialist courses for government agencies. Courses can be run using our fleet of school RIBs, (Rigid Inflatable Boats) varying from 5.6m with 90hp to 7.8m with twin 130hp. or in your own craft. All our RIBs are fully DoT coded for working commercially offshore. I am open throughout the year, Salcombe is delightful throughout the seasons.

 Powerboating abroad? You will need your "International Certificate of Competence". I can train, examine and award this certificate. Gain experience and confidence by taking a  holiday cruise aboard our new, state of the art, 26 foot, twin engined, 260hp RIB skippered by an experienced offshore powerboat helmsman. This vessel is fully equipped for serious offshore cruising. We will organise everything; from waterproofs to a bed to rest your head at the end of the day. Many cruises available throughout the year; Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, France etc, or take part in our once a year "Round Britain RIB Cruise". No previous experience necessary.
