Seawise Powerboat School is based in Greenwich in
the shadow of the Millennium Dome. This is on the tidal section of the Thames
and affords an excellent environment for powerboat training. The school can
also offer training in the somewhat warmer climes of Lanzarote
The school is run by Andrew Maybury who is an RYA
Advanced Powerboat Instructor. Andrew runs the full range of RYA courses
including Level 2, Advanced, Level 1 & Safety
Boat. Andy also runs direct assesment courses for Level 2 and the ICC.
The school is based at the Greenwich Maritime
School which gives the school excellent facilities. The Club facilities include
a licensed bar, classroom, changing facilities and warm showers! Via Andy the
Maritime School can offer RYA courses from Dayskipper to Ocean Yachtmaster.
The school specialises in providing professional
Powerboat Training at an affordable price, by friendly and caring fully
qualified Powerboat Instructors - give Andy a call to discuss your training
needs.

| History |
| This site was
founded back in 1999 as a resource for powerboaters interested
in furthering their boat handling skills via training or simply
reading about how to handle their craft better. Since its
inception it remains the only site dedicated to powerboat
training and is ranked No1 for Powerboat Training by search
engines such as Google, Yahoo and Altavista. The site has been
reviewed by a variety of magazines and websites and its content
is regularly used by other more mainstream sites. |
